Domaine Luneau-Papin Le Verger Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2022
Muscadet, Pays Nantais, Loire, FranceDomaine Luneau-Papin was founded in the 1990’s, uniting two winemaking families through the marriage of Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin. The Luneau family has been growing melon de Bourgogne in Le Landreau for over two centuries, and Monique’s parents ran their family estate in the town of Chapelle-Heulin. This certified organic and biodynamic Melon de Bourgogne was planted in 1998 in the schist bedrock of Chapelle-Heulin. It was whole cluster, native ferment and aged 6 months in underground glass-lined tank, with no racking, fining, or filtration, and a small amount of SO2 added at bottling. A subtle nose opens into white grapefruit, white melon, crushed stone, and colourful tangerine pith and peel, with a long oyster shell finish. Slender and impactful, and exactly what you want to reach for with fresh shellfish.Tasted: 02 June 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| BC | $39.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
