Chivite Las Fincas Rosado 2024

Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla, SpainThe Chivite Las Fincas range was born from a longstanding friendship between the Chivite and Arzak families. Juan Mari Arzak Arratibel is a Spanish chef and owner of Arzak restaurant in San Sebastian and is considered one of the great masters of New Basque cuisine, something he describes as "evolutionary, investigatory, and avant-garde." This rosado is a collaboration between Julián Chivite and the Arzak family, and, as in the past, it is delicious. The colour is Provençal pale, while the nose is a subtle mix of floral and citrus, and the palate a mix of rosé petals and gentle sweet strawberries, raspberries, grapefruit, and cranberries. This is a gastronomic rosé, from its complex, silky textures to its ability to complement everything from simple pizza to a main course like lemon roasted chicken. The blend is 70/30 garnacha tinta and tempranillo, and it spends six months in stainless steel before going to the bottle.Tasted: 20 June 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
