Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, FranceThe deep freeze prompted CedarCreek to look offshore to Bordeaux’s Entre-Deux-Mers region to make this cabernet franc. The style departs from the richer, warmer BC style, making it more reminiscent of Ontario or Loire examples, though with less intensity. It is more savoury and spicy, as Geoffrey has noted, with muted red-black raspberry and some branchy, rooty notes on the finish. Light, juicy, fresh, and ready to drink, this is best with some grilled chicken or beef to fill in the medium-weight picture.Tasted: 02 August 2026Tasted by: Prices:

Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, FranceThere's something decidedly Loire-like to this cabernet franc, even if the fruit is sourced from Entre-Deux-Mers in Bordeaux. Just like Chinon, there's an interplay of fruit ripeness, aromatic savoury spices, and floral perfume. Expect ripe black cherry, dark plum, and raspberry that's heightened by graphite, star anise, and violet. Medium-bodied, it's fresh and juicy, yet backed by rich fruit. Certainly no shortage of wine here for $30.Tasted: 26 June 2026Tasted by: Prices:
