Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, FranceThere's something decidedly Loire-like to this cabernet franc, even if the fruit is sourced from Entre-Deux-Mers in Bordeaux. Just like Chinon, there's an interplay of fruit ripeness, aromatic savoury spices, and floral perfume. Expect ripe black cherry, dark plum, and raspberry that's heightened by graphite, star anise, and violet. Medium-bodied, it's fresh and juicy, yet backed by rich fruit.
