Liguria, ItalyEstablished in 1966 by Paolo Bosoni, the Ligurian estate is located in Castelnuovo Magra, bordering Toscana. Named after the ancient Roman Port of the Moon, Portus Lunae, the winery spans 85 hectares and is seen as one of the best producers in the region. This vermentino was macerated cool on the skins over 8 hours, and then fermented in steel, where it aged on fine lees for 4 months. White peach, ripe pear, citrus blossoms and pink grapefruit is seasoned with subtle acacia spice and tangerine peel, over a buzzy, stony, lees slicked core.
