Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe colour is Coho pink, the texture is lightly creamy, and the attack is dry and tart, featuring cranberries, barely ripe strawberries, and a savoury finish. This is best with richer dishes like roasted chicken and mushrooms or cedar planked salmon. The estate grown Blaufränkisch was 50% whole cluster pressed for freshness, while the remaining 50% received 3 hours of skin contact to build mouthfeel and aromatics before being pressed to tank.
