Roland Lavantureux Premier Cru Chablis Fourchaume 2022

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceRoland Lavantureux is a subtle yet respected name in Chablis. It is a family owned estate in Préhy, with over 20 hectares of vineyards across the village, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru areas. The '22 Fourchaume is a force from the right bank, north of the Grand Crus, from what can be described as a warm, generous, earlier ripening growing season. Honestly, it has a bit of Grand Cru weight and a modern Fourchaume take that blends precision with quiet depth. Look for lemon, green apple, and some sea spray with a dusting of hazelnuts. The palate is unusually supple yet still has enough minerality to carry off the Chablis character, thanks to a chalky, saline finish. You can drink this now and through 2027. There is no need to wait. Perfect for restaurants.Tasted: 01 May 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
