Observatory Merlot Rosé 2025
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Observatory grapes come from its east-facing estate vineyard in Summerland, overlooking Okanagan Lake. Tasted alongside more than a dozen other 2025 BC rosés, this simple, well made wine stood out for its freshness, refined berries, and a dusting of minerality. What looked as though it might be too light turned out to be perfectly structured and fun to drink. We served it with baked brie. Best of all, $1 from each bottle sold will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Whole clusters are soaked overnight in picking bins to extract minimal colour along with subtle berries.
