Kaleden, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis rare Kaleden chardonnay opens in a ripe, generous style, with bruised fruit nuances and a touch of sweetness on the front palate. Tropical pineapple leads the way, joined by caramel, butterscotch, and subtle wood notes through a creamy, medium-long finish. It is not my favourite style, but it will appeal to those who enjoy a slightly older school Chardonnay with some residual sweetness and oak in the finish.
