Isla de Maipo, Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileLegado = legacy. The Legado wines come from highly selected vineyard parcels. The cabernet is sourced from an alluvial terrace on the Isla De Maipo in the heart of the Maipo Valley and vines around 30 years old. This was native fermented in stainless before aging 1 year in used barrels. Bright wild blackberry, thorns, tobacco is woven with green herbaceousness, and wrapped with sticky tannins, taking this young wine to a warming peppery finish.
