Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Bartier style is lean and clean, and the '25 sauvignon sticks to the blueprint. It is delicate, as you can get with sauvignon, shunning the grassy, high acid notes of so many others in favour of a subtle, light peach and Golden Delicious apple. The finish is mineral with notes of lime peel, setting it up for a variety of food pairings. Deep-fried appetizers would be fun.
