The pinot noir (44%) escaped the deep freeze on the Naramata Bench, while the syrah (56%) was grown in Washington State's Horse Heaven Hills, where outstanding syrah has been a fixture for more than two decades. The texture is the centrepiece of this red: soft and slippery, yet with impressive black fruit and structure throughout, finishing with cleansing minerality.
