Garzon, Maldonado, Oceanic, UruguayFrom their granitic, coastal-influenced vineyards of southern Uruguay, this single vineyard albariño (a massale selection from Rìas Baixas) was fermented and aged in concrete tulip. That imbues a subtle texture to this finessed and elegant white, long in the mouth with quince blossom, gooseberry, tangerine and lime peel, lit with a buzzy granitic tension and energy.
