Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a blend of estate fruit and two off site vineyards: Enrico and Saison. Each lot is harvested and vinified separately to preserve its sense of place and nuance. Fermentation and aging take place in a mix of concrete and neutral French oak. A little known fact is that Blue Grouse Estate is home to some of the oldest pinot gris vines in British Columbia, and that portion of the blend is responsible for the intense minerality that runs through the wine. The nose opens with sweet acacia and candied melon, while the palate is dry and lively, with a wealth of citrus rind and bright acidity that dances across the finish. Shellfish, fresh fish, fish cakes, and fish soup - it can handle it all.Tasted: 24 April 2026Tasted by: Prices:

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaBlue Grouse continues its steadfast march into the future, now backed and buoyed by Jackson Family Wines. The refreshed label reflects the fresher, more modern styling. This PG is off their estate and nearby Saison vineyard. It was fermented in a mix of concrete and neutral French oak, with partial MLF. Fresh and bright, with melon, pithy tangerine, white grapefruit, white blossom smartly textured by fermentation / aging vessels, building depth to the slight 11.5% frame. A crisp marine salinity runs throughout, leaving this mouthwatering and ready for food. Very Wine Islands.Tasted: 27 April 2026Tasted by: Prices:
