He developed his skills in Burgundy, Oregon, and in the vineyards of his Niagara home base. The Villages wine is sourced from the Niagara Escarpment, known locally as The Bench, and it performs well as a blended wine. It is juicy and surprisingly bold, with earthy black raspberry, and is a delight to enjoy, though there's no need to rush. It will age comfortably through 2028. We served it slightly chilled.
