Unsworth Vineyards Pinot Blanc 2024
Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaPinot blanc is a relative BC rarity, and even more so from Vancouver Island. This inaugural black label edition comes from Saanich Peninsula's Mount Newton Bench Vineyard and its silty clay marine sedimentary soils, up to 70m. Lean and sleek, with elderflower, gooseberry, grapefruit rind streaking through a crunchy, light palate through an ale and saline washed finish. A greener, stricter version of the grape this time out, but I will watch how this cool wine does with our cool marine climate.Tasted: 28 March 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| BC | $26.90 | 750ml | winery direct |
