Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Super Tuscan x Southern Okanagan blend marries 42% cabernet franc, 30% merlot, 16% cabernet sauvignon, and 12% sangiovese. Everything aged 20 months in 91% French and Slovenian oak barrique (11% new, 9% botti) before being bottled unfined. Wild black cassis, tobacco, dark espresso, and thorns are woven through this fuller, powerful red, with dusky, sueded tannins leading to a warming puff of heat on the sticky finish.
