Champagne, FranceCharles de Bel is a new second label of Billecart-Salmon, and Inspiration 1818 includes some of the wines that are not selected for B-S. This blend of 37% chardonnay, 33% pinot noir, 30% pinot meunier employs an outstanding 70% reserve wines, and is disgorged with 9 g/L. Bread dough, lemon, red apple, mirabelle plum fills a cushy palate, with softer sides fading into a crushed floral finish.
