Hemel-En-Aarde Valley, Hermanus, Walker Bay, Overberg, South AfricaHannes and Nathalia Storm are a husband and wife team that handcrafts cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde, and Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. This Ridge bottling comes from a high density, stony clay vineyard. It was native fermented with partial MLF, and rested 11 months in 228L French barrels. This is a stunning pixellated chardonnay with lemon pith and peel, green apple, and alluring flinty licks, holding great energy through the lingering finish.
