McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaThis curious (for McLaren Vale anyhoo) blend of 70% tempranillo / 30% touriga national was inspired by the Iberian Peninsula. Ripe and dense, this was quite reductive upon cracking into, though slowly blew off to reveal dark florals, kirsch, anise, and lavender, clad with sticky tannins still to shed.
