Laughing Stock Vineyards Blind Trust White +04/09 2024

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlind Trust has been sold as an undisclosed blend for a while. Once you buy it, you can peel back the capsule to see the actual grape components stencilled on the bottle neck, which vary each year, hence the name Blind Trust. In 2024, like 2023, after all the blending trials, the decision was made to release a 100% sauvignon blanc. In many ways, the two vintages are similar. Both present as pleasant examples of this aromatic variety, with a fresh fruit nose of passionfruit and pineapple, albeit without the biting acidity we see in New Zealand examples. The palate features ripe tropical and pear fruit, giving the wine an appealing balance and making it fun to sip. It is ripe enough to handle bites of spicy tuna rolls or a poolside spicy mango salsa served with potato chips.Tasted: 13 February 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
