Domaine Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot L'O de la Vie 2023
Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceBurgundians and partners Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot have joined forces to make wines with old vines and altitude in Minervois. L’O de la Vie is a play on “eau de vie,” or water of life, and is made from younger vine syrah. It was destemmed and native fermented in stainless. Ripe, deep and plush, this fuller red blurs wild black and red fruit and cured meats, with sinewy tannins sticking in the sides. There's a lovely swell of Rhône acidity to carry this through the peppery, garrigue kissed finish.Tasted: 25 February 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| BC | $46.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
