Chateau Lassègue Saint Emilion 2020

Saint Émilion, Libourne, Bordeaux, FranceOrnate sundials embellish the façade of Lassègue, symbols of the property's ideal south south west facing slopes. Old vines cover its gently sloping clay and limestone soils in the Côte de Saint Émilion. Deep, dark, aromatic cabernet franc (60%) blends seamlessly with 35% old vine merlot and 5% cabernet sauvignon. Expect a fresh, red fruit nose with some florals. The palate delivers a silky texture, with a few youthful tannins emerging through the blackcurrant. Cellar it until 2027 or serve now with grilled beef for the best experience. Jackson Family Wines has lovingly restored Château Lassègue under the guidance of celebrated winemaker Pierre Seillan.Tasted: 11 February 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
