1 Mill Road Grenache 2024

Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe 2024 Grenache comes off Washington's windswept Coyote Canyon Vineyard. The style blends European and New World influences. The colour is medium-light, with a nose of fresh raspberries, ripe cranberries, rose petals, a dusting of white pepper, and wild herbs. The stony underside keeps the ripe raspberry in check, giving the whole wine balance and elegance that is unexpected but well received. The finish is silky, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, graceful exit. An impressive collaboration between 1 Mill Road and Coyote Canyon at a time when cooperation between our two countries is at an all-time low. This spent eight months in seasoned French oak, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.Tasted: 10 May 2026Tasted by: Prices:
