Alentejo, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalThis Alentejo blend of antão vaz, perrum, and roupeiro was fermented on skins in talhas (clay amphora). It was named for their grandfather winemaker who made talha wines for 30 years at their family winery. Pouring a glowing amber hue, this tight wine streams apricot, pineapple rind, and tangerine along the taut, lightly grippy palate.
