Gérard Bertrand An 1618 Picpoul Pinet 2024
Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FrancePicpoul de Pinet has become one of France's most reliable seafood whites, making it perfect for West Coast consumers and our abundance of seafood and shellfish. Picpoul is often compared to Muscadet or Albariño because of its freshness and drinkability, but it is a bit less serious and much more fun on a sunny patio. Look for a bright, fresh white with plenty of citrus, accompanied by a hint of green herbs and light pear. It was first recognized in the south of France before the time of Louis XIV and was considered a renowned grape in the Languedoc as early as 618 by botanist Magnol, as mentioned in his book Sylve Planetarium.Tasted: 24 January 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $24.00 | 750ml | select private retailers |
