Colle Massaria Riserva Montecucco 2021

Tuscany, ItalyMontecucco Rosso Riserva is a self proclaimed Super Tuscan, with herbal, aromatic, Mediterranean evergreen needle notes on the nose. The attack is a wild mix of 80% sangiovese, 10% ciliegiolo, and 10% cabernet sauvignon with intense spice and more herbal notes. Despite the nose, there is a lot of richness and tannins yet to be dispersed. Hold through 2027. The Riserva comes from vineyards located 300 meters above sea level, with different exposures and soils, namely sandstone, calcareous-marly clays, alluvial pebbles with conglomerate, and red clays. The vines are organically farmed.Tasted: 08 January 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
