Washington, United StatesThis Okanagan winery is the vision of Shay and Harlee Code, farmers and owners of this organic 5 acre Okanagan Falls east bench estate. They began planting in 2017 with chardonnay and syrah. This 2024 rosé is part of their CIBC Grower Series, with fruit sourced from Washington State's Rattlesnake Hills and Wahluke Slope AVAs. The blend is 40% grenache, 30% cinsault, and 30% syrah, whole cluster pressed in stainless save for the cinsault, which went into neutral French barrels with weekly bâtonnage. Tart, taut, and bone dry, with summer strawberries, sour rhubarb, crushed florals scented with white pepper and finishing with a wash of salinity. Very smart replacement wine, and ready for any matter of food pairings now. Don't drink too cold.Tasted: 19 January 2026Tasted by: Prices:
Washington, United StatesProvençe style, with a pale rose petal colour in the glass, this initially shows light grapefruit, citrus peel, rose petal, and lime. The taste mirrors this, offering floral, drifting, airy, and balanced flavours with a very clean profile. The grapes used are grenache, cinsault, and syrah, sourced from Washington state. This reflects the varieties found in Provence rosés, and the flavours and style are reminiscent of wines from that region. The finish presents a pleasant, brisk acidity along with long, descending citrus notes of rose petal and ripe pink grapefruit.Tasted: 16 February 2026Tasted by: Prices:
