Champagne Valentin Leflaive Extra Brut Rosé Grand Cru Verzenay 20 6.0 NV

Côte des Blancs, Champagne, FranceIf Leflaive sounds familiar, you're certainly correct, as the family has been growing and making wine in nearby Puligny-Montrachet since 1580. Olivier Leflaive began this new project in Champagne, named for his young son Valentin, in 2015. Their rosé is entirely from the Grand Cru Verzenay, and based on 2020, with 6 g/L dosage (as per the name of the wine). This was disgorged October 2023. Toasted brioche, wild cherries, summer strawberries streams along the taut palate, with a red currant acidity to lift, a highly alluring flicker of reduction, and a lingering trail of chalk.Tasted: 03 January 2026Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
