Champagne Delavenne Dom Basle Brut Reserve Bouzy Grand Cru NV
Montagne de Reims, Champagne, FranceNow in their 4th generation, Delavenne has been family owned and operated since 1920, with 9 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy (their home), Ambonnay, and Cramant. Their vineyards, averaging 45 years old, are sustainably managed. Dom Basle blends 2018 and 2019, with 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. It was native fermented in stainless with no MLF, and disgorged in July 2024 with 7 g/L. Creamy red apple, marzipan, vanilla wafer, tart lemon, is lit with a shimmering chalky acidity, which sticks on the finish.
