United StatesLook for expressive and bright citrus peel and pineapple. There is plenty of creamy mid-palate weight buoyed by more ripe pineapple, red apples, citrus and subtle nutty notes. The winery suggests pairing this with roasted chicken with a sage stuffing or a well-aged Gouda. This replacement Chardonnay was sourced from two vineyards: one overlooking Lake Chelan in Washington State; and the other farther south, in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley.
