It is a blend of 25/75, Moscatel Los Cuartillos / Oloroso de Primitivo Collantes, with oxidative aging. The colour is a classic mahogany, and the texture is viscous. The aroma evokes standing in the middle of a spacious barrel hall in Jerez, inhaling the scent of aged barrels and the evaporating sherry that has seeped into the walls and roof for centuries. The palate begins dry, with a notable walnut and slight bitterness, then transitions to the candied tropical sweetness of the muscat, culminating in a silky, smooth, and easy to drink profile that is well balanced, neither overly sweet nor dry, with the alcohol integrated. Serve slightly chilled. According to the Consejo Regulador, Generoso Liqueur Wines are defined as wines produced through the traditional practice of "cabeceo," blending Generoso Wines with Naturally Sweet Wines, sometimes including concentrated must.
