Fort Berens Blanc de Blanc 2022

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaLillooet's terroir reveals some incredible versatility, adding this Blanc de Blanc to the region's growing reputation. The grapes are grown at Fort Berens estate's Dry Creek Vineyard. The style is lean and spare, with most of the classic markers connoisseurs look for in fine sparkling wine. Expect a taut, dry, citrus nose that bleeds into the palate, where, after 24 months of aging, you are greeted by lees and almond croissant. The chardonnay has a refined blanc de blanc structure with plenty of acidity charged by a stream of tiny bubbles. Well done, but should be served with smoked salmon blinis, cheese sticks, or, in a pinch, some popcorn to mitigate some of that acidity.Tasted: 03 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
