Drouhin Vaudon Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons 2022
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceMany people want to change the wine scene because their sales are declining. The Drouhin family has been involved since the 1880s. The current generation's great-grandfather started the business as a negociant, but the company somehow evolved over time despite numerous global calamities. In the early 20th century, the family began as winemakers, purchasing and planting their first vineyards in the 1960s. Great wine is never out of fashion. This 1er Cru Vaillons is situated on the southwest bank of Chablis, facing east, in the captivating Kimmeridgian limestone soils. The vines, at 30 years old, are just reaching their peak. In 2022, the harvest, although early, was seen as a success by most producers, producing fresh 12.5% Chablis with all its key features: plenty of lemon pith and peel, a lively saline base, and a precise mineral streak, with stone scented finishes. It's perfect for drinking now through 2028.Tasted: 07 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $64.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
