Champagne Michel Gonet Les 3 Terroirs Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs 2019
Champagne, FranceBorn into a family of winemakers, a tradition passed down from since 1802, Michel Gonet founded his eponymous Champagne house in 1973 and developed it to encompass 36 sustainably farmed hectares in the Côtes de Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, Montgueux, and Bar-sur-Aubois. Today, his three children, Charles-Henri, Frédéric, and Sophie, have taken over the reins and continue to uphold their father's vision. They collaborate with world renown Sommelier Marco Pelletier, and source used barrels from Bourgogne superstar (and friend) Jean-Marc Roulot. The 3 Terroirs this BdB is named for are Montgueaux, Les Mesnil-Sur-Oger, and Vindey. After 4 years sur lattes, my bottle was disgorged with 4 g/L in December 2023. Tight and vibrant, with green apple, white blossom, and lemon pith and peel taut across a fine chalky underlay, this practically hums along the palate. Lovely precision and energy, and certainly built for food (merci Marco).Tasted: 03 December 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| ON | $75.00 | 750ml | consignment |
