Champagne Laurent-Perrier Héritage Brut NV
Champagne, FranceHéritage is the first Brut Champagne from a Grandes Marques made entirely from reserve wines. In this case, 55% chardonnay, and 45% pinot noir, from 40 crus (50% GC), and vintages 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2019. The blend was aged for 3 years sur lattes before disgorge with a lower dosage. There's a great freshness and poise about this developed wine, with some of the reserve base dating back near 10 years now. In fact, you can think of Héritage as the little sibling to Grand Siècle, the prestige cuvée of the house. Nougat, roasted hazelnuts, crunchy green and red apple is lit with lemon peel, corseting in the sides and humming this along to a snappy finish.
