Altos Las Hormigas Blanco 2024

Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThe 2024 Blanco Altos Las Hormigas is a blend of 52% chenin blanc, 28% pedro giménez, and 20% sémillon from the Uco Valley. The attack is dry with fresh orchard fruit. On the palate, it is mostly a fresh citrus affair with a touch of pear and peach in the finish. The structure is light, the acid refreshing, and it's ready to drink with simple seafood dishes. Pedro giménez, a more ancestral variety, is not to be confused with the Spanish pedro ximénez grape. Solid, well made, simple white wine.Tasted: 18 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
