Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA seldom seen traditional method chenin blanc, this is off their oldest estate chenin vines, planted in 1968. After fermentation in stainless, this moved to bottle for 3 years en tirage, disgorged in April 2023 with 7 g/L. Brisk and crisp, with bitter lemon, green apple, almond, pear skin, and anise on the taut, buzzy palate, with ample acidity to sail this through a dry, pithy finish.
