JoieFarm Un-Oaked Chardonnay Pacific Northwest Edition 2024

Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesJoiefarm is part of only a handful of producers who still mention on the label that their wine is unoaked. In some ways, it is a hangover from the heavily oaked wines of the past, signalling that this wine is different. Yet many oaked wines have the vivacity of this wine today. In fact, it is fresh and perky. The acidity is bright, and the fruit is pure. It's a lemony and floral affair, with just enough softness to appeal to oak lovers, too. The 2024 is a replacement wine for the deep-freeze year from Balcom & Moe Vineyard in Washington's Yakima Valley. It is ready to drink.Tasted: 01 November 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
