Dirty Laundry Vineyard Bordello 2022
British Columbia, CanadaBordello spends 24 months maturing in wood, giving winemaker Mason Spink plenty of time to evaluate the final blend, select the best barrels, and age it for another year. The blend in 2022 consists of 47% merlot, 26% malbec, and 26% cabernet sauvignon. The nose offers a pleasant mix of dark fruit, black currant, pipe tobacco, and black cherries. The palate is soft, round, and ripe, with cherries, vanilla, cedar, and plums. It is generous, balanced, and approachable for all at 13.5% alcohol, with subtle violet, tobacco, and mild pepper on the finish.
