Champagne Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé NV
Champagne, FrancePerrier-Jouët began in 1811 with the marriage of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët. It is currently owned by Pernod-Ricard. This rosé comes off 20 crus, and blends 50% pinot noir, 25% chardonnay, and 25% pinot meunier, with 10-15% still red wines macerated on the skins for colour. This spent 3 years sur lattes, and was dosed with 9 g/L. Pouring a deeper salmon hue, this is amply red fruited, with strawberry and cherry cut with a brisk lemon acidity that draws this to a brief mandarine twist finish.
