Champagne Gosset Zéro Dosage NV
Champagne, FranceThis brand new release from Gosset is their first ever zéro dosage, blending 62% chardonnay and 38% pinot noir from primarily Ambonnay, Avize, Bouzy, Cumières, and Cramant, based on the 2013 harvest. After more than a year in stainless, this went into bottle in spring 2015, disgorged in spring 2025 with zero dosage. The long lees aging is well offset by the 0D. Zesty lemon peel opens into yellow apple, toasted brioche, roasted hazelnuts, and chestnuts over a fine chalk base, finishing with a lingering bitter pithy lemon finish.
