Martinborough, Wairarapa, North Island, New ZealandThere is a purity of fruit here, as in citrus and stone fruit, but the package is extremely taut with an even skinnier back end. There is a hint of almonds and exotic spice, but this needs a big, fat, rich dish to take on the straight line grapefruit acidity, minerality, and firm finish.
