Wesbert Winery Sparkling Piquette Rosé 2024
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPiquette is a low alcohol, lightly sparkling drink made from the second pressings of grape pomace, namely the leftover skins, seeds, and stems after fermentation. Water is added, and it is then refermented, resulting in a fizzy, refreshing beverage between 4 and 9% alcohol. Created for winery workers to stay refreshed and clear headed late in the workday, piquette offers a tangy, fruity wine with bright acidity and a foamy texture. The rosé version at Wesbert is much better than the gew. It is a pungent, orange/cherry affair with a creamy palate and no bitterness. It even has a little bit of a silky finish.Tasted: 03 October 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $19.95 | 750ml | winery online/direct |
