Nestor Fileri Rosé 2024
Messinia, Peloponnese, GreeceFrom Greece's peninsular Peloponnese, and the Messinia home of the Nestor Wines co.op, this is a rosé of fileri (moschofilero's modestly aromatic clone). The white grape's greyish / red skin colour gives this wine its orange hue, while the stainless ferment protects its crisp acidity. This grew in sandy clays around 300-450m. Perfumed florals, turkish delight, lush peach jump from the glass and fill the juicy palate, finishing with an alluring bergamot twist. This dry, fragrant wine is a charmer, however much more akin to a skin contact pinot gris than a rosé.Tasted: 27 October 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| BC | $30.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
