Mt. Boucherie Blaufränkisch 2023
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe blaufränkisch grape (also known as lemberger) is common across Central Europe but is most closely linked to Austria. It isn't new to the Okanagan, where it was planted at the Lazy River Vineyard in the Similkameen Valley 28 years ago. Expect a meaty, cherry, dark plum hued wine with a hint of black walnut and a wild, animal-like character. It's juicy, light on its feet, and ready to drink now. The winery suggests serving it lightly chilled.Tasted: 07 October 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $27.99 | 750ml | winery online/direct |
