Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2021 edition highlights the classic cool climate style of BC syrah, grown on the estate Anastasia Vineyard just below 50 degrees north latitude. The nose is fresh with floral hints, revealing plum and red cherry. On the palate, raspberries and plums blend with peppery notes and a touch of earth. More Northern Rhône in style, but without the power. The texture is smooth and refined, with a medium-long finish. Drink now or age it, but serve it with some lamb chops for the best experience.
