This marks the first Summerland Estate Single Vineyard release that was farmed organically and certified. In 2023, the fruit was wild fermented before undergoing a spontaneous malolactic fermentation, and aged in 20% new French oak for seven months. The nose is pleasant, with notes of forest floor, earth, and light cherry. The palate is balanced with light to medium intensity, typical of such young vines. The finish combines plums and earth with a hint of carrot top.
