Longaví GLUP Chenin Blanc 2024
Valle del Lontué, Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileLongaví is a cross cultural collab between Chilean winemaker Julio Bouchon and South African winemaker David Nieuwoudt. This chenin (the only one in Chile?) comes from vineyards in Maule's Valle del Lontué. It was native fermented in concrete with skins over 2 months, and then spent 5 more months in contact with lees. Tangerine, grapefruit, lemon verbena glides along a gently textured palate, tightened with a grapefruit rinse, and finishing with crushed stones. Quite smart, and certainly unique (take this to a blind tasting!)Tasted: 27 October 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| BC | $40.00 | 750ml | private wine stores |
