Montsant, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainJosep Grau oversees 26ha of organic vineyards in Priorat and Montsant, at varying elevations and degrees of llicorella (slate), chalky clay, and decomposed granite. This Garnacha Blanco was fermented and aged in 1900L concrete egg over 7 months. An expressive nose of white peach, green fig, and meadow thistle opens to a textural, medium bodied, lees-decked palate, drawing light honeysuckle and crushed stones to a lingering saline finish.
